What We Do
We aim to provide a minimum of three days’ emergency food and support to local people who find themselves unable to feed themselves and/or their families for a variety of reasons. We refer to the people who receive our help as ‘guests’, as they are warmly invited to use our services when they need to.
We operate from St Andrew’s Earlsfield church, and each Thursday guests visit the Church to collect their provisions from us. Food poverty is usually a symptom of other problems, so we also provide additional support to help people resolve other issues they’re facing. A representative from Citizens Advice Wandsworth (CAW) is available every week to provide additional help to our guests, on issues such as benefits, housing, health, debt, family breakdown etc..
